On behalf of Dr Sudeep Shivakumar and the Fellowship & Training Committee, we are pleased to announce that the 2015-2016 Thrombosis Canada Can-VECTOR Research Fellowship has been awarded to Dr. Leslie Skeith.
Dr Leslie Skeith, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Skeith completed her internal medicine residency at Western University, and is currently a hematology resident at the University of Calgary. During her research year, Dr. Skeith plans to complete a Master of Health Professions Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago while solidifying her thesis research project evaluating thrombosis specific-assessment tools for the AFC program in Adult Thrombosis Medicine. Dr. Skeith will join us at the Thrombosis Canada AGM in Ottawa on November 7th to present her research to the membership.
